The New Hampshire Aging and Disability Resource Center
Advisory Group Roles
The role of the Aging and Disability Resource Center Advisory Group (ADRC) is to advise the State on the design and operations of the Resource Center. It is composed of individuals representing all populations served by the program, including individuals who have a disability or a chronic condition, public and private agencies that provide services to individuals served by the program, and government agencies and others participating in the program. To carry out this role effectively, members of the Advisory Group:
- Work positively to influence strong community support for the ADRC model and actively encourage inter-organizational collaboration;
- Support and advocate as appropriate for the ADRC Program;
- Advise the State on how to obtain meaningful stakeholder input, review that input, and make recommendations;
- Monitor the State's progress toward achieving the vision and the goals of the ADRC project;
- Work independently and with subject matter experts on specific program design issues;
- Meet regularly with the Planning Team to provide guidance on specific programs
